In order to fully achieve zero waste on our campuses we must adopt the zero waste hierarchy framework which shifts the priority to the reduction of waste rather than diversion through recycling or composting. This webinar will share case studies at two schools that have successfully enacted strategies and policies that avoid waste from plastic water bottles.
Attendees will gain insights into plastic water bottle ban policy development and implementation, as well as research to support water bottle filling stations, an alternative to single use water
