CURC is nothing without you! There are many ways to get involved:
Board Membership
CURC is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. Members are appointed for 3-year terms and may serve two concurrent terms.
Applications to join the Board are currently open and due April 1st.
CURC Announcements
Sign up to receive email reminders about upcoming webinars, when webinar recordings are available, and other CURC-sponsored events or announcements.
CURC Committees
Committees meet monthly, or as needed, via conference call to accomplish all the work of CURC. Committees are chaired by a current Board Member, but committee membership is open to anyone.
RECYC-L Google Group
RECYC-L is an email group about recycling and waste reduction programs at college and university campuses as well as related topics of interest to persons responsible for planning and implementing such programs.

Clicking the “sign up for RECYC-L” button will take you to the Google Group page.
There, next to the group title, RECYC-L, click “Join group”.
Once within the group you will be able to post messages via the Google Group page or by emailing a message to recyc-l@curc3r.org.
You can edit your membership settings to receive individual emails, a digest, or abridged message. This Google Workspace Learning page has instructions.
CURC Community Conversation
Join the CURC Board and other sustainability professionals for a review of the past year, a look ahead to current year, and conversations about best practices for recycling and waste reduction at higher education institutions.
Occurs annually, each year in March.
Virtual Vendor Showcase
The Virtual Vendor Showcase connects zero waste solutions providers with higher education customers by replacing the traditional in-person vendor expo format. This online event offers a shared space for vendors to pitch their offerings to interested university and college faculty, staff, and students.
