Diversion Upstream: Working with Purchasing to Prevent Waste

December 16 2-3pm EST

Watch recording

Colleges are uniquely capable of controlling not only how our waste is sorted, but how it is procured in the first place. Using the power of purchasing contracts, your school can work smarter, not harder to divert waste or completely eliminate waste streams on your campus. Experts in this program will discuss working with purchasing departments, measuring the impacts of purchasing decisions, and how their campuses have been able to make a change.
