Campus Reuse Programs
Originally took place on March 9, 2017
This program will profile college initiatives to bring new life to old items and engage students and community members about the importance of reuse in the waste reduction hierarchy. Presentations will include an overview of UC Berkeley’s ReUSE store and other efforts, as well as a town-gown collaboration in Oregon to promote Repair Fair events. The program will close with a case study from the UK, about the University of Glasgow cooperative effort to manage surplus property nearby universities using the Warp It asset sharing system.
